Do you have a passion for missions?  Our WMU meets the second Monday of every month.   Some of the key missions for 2016 are:

  1. Winter Wear for the Homeless.   Coats, hats, gloves or blankets are collected for distributions to the homeless.
  2. Baby Bottle Ministry.  The funds collected go to the Bethany Christians Services – Christ-Centered Crisis Pregnancy Center & Adoption Services in Fredericksburg.
  3. Making Prayer Quilts for the Sick.  What’s involved?  Getting together to cut quilt squares, placing them together and, of course, sewing. Each quilt is dedicated with prayers and tying of the ribbons. They are given to those who are sick and unable to come to church.  DSC_0045-001
  4. Stop Hunger Now Project.  Sponsored by the Goshen Association, this project will run from March to October to raise money to send for to the Stop Hunger Now.  The goal is 60,000 meals and will cost $15,000.  Our 2016 goal is is to raise enough money for 5,000 meals.
  5. Mission Sponsorships.
  6. Annie Armstrong and the Week of Prayer for North American Missions.
