Craigs is blessed by many great staff and volunteers that keep things running smoothly around the church, a few of whom are shown below! We follow a servant leadership model, as demonstrated by Jesus and it is our prayer that everyone, no matter of title or position will find a place where they belong, and can serve in ways that draw themselves and others into closer fellowship with Christ. The Gospel of Jesus is what draws us together and the Great Commission is the motivation that will send us out to meet the needs of our community through service, devotion, and love.
Meet the Team
John Swain
Senior Pastor
John Swain has been the pastor of Craigs Baptist Church since 1992. Prior to taking up the role of Pastor at Craigs, John was involved in the Gideons ministry, distributing Bibles, and has a background in business and retail management.
John has an earnest desire to see Craigs Baptist Church faithful and effective in reaching out to the community. He believes Jesus Christ is the only answer to the needs of man and the church is the tool God intends to use for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus. He sees the Bible as the means to effectively know and follow Jesus.
John and his wife Nancy own two well-loved chihuahuas and when he has the time he enjoys taking his motorcycle out on the streets.

Greg Fletcher
Elder
Greg is a native of Spotsylvania County and lived about a mile from Craigs until he moved to attend college. He met his wife, Brenda while at Bible College. After graduating from Liberty University in 1990, they joined Pioneers and moved to Japan to do church planting work. In 1999, they moved to Australia worked assisting churches to send people to work cross-culturally in places where the Gospel is not available. They returned to the US after 8 years and have been assisting churches in the US to think strategically about their role in sending workers cross-culturally in obedience to the Great Commission.
Greg enjoys leading worship and partnering with the other elders at Craigs as we seek to honor God in our community. He is thankful for the opportunity to serve here and looks forward to where God is leading us in the coming days and years!
Jonathan Moore
Centershot Director
Jonathan has attended Craigs Baptist church since 2015; he is a Deacon of the church and a native of Spotsylvania County. The Lord has blessed him with the CenterShot Ministry he is able to do something he loves while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with families. He is married to his wife Crystal for 22 years with 2 adult children: Jonathan Jr. and Jacob. Hobbies include archery, hunting and fishing.
